Thorns Premier Program: Birth Year 2005 - 1999

The Premier program provides year-round opportunities for 2005 through 2003 (Eighth Grade) birth years, while birth years 2003 (High School) - 1999 join up with Thorns once they complete the High School season. The Premier Program is split into three tiers and players are split based on ability, attitude, commitment to the game and what Thorns think is best for the player’s development.

The Premier program is for players with a passion for soccer who are aiming to maximize their development and strive to achieve their highest potential. Our teams will compete in the St Louis Youth Soccer Association League (SLYSA: www.slysa.org) plus both State, Regional and National events depending on the level of the group.

Each tier provides curriculum based on the four pillars of the game - technical, tactical, physical and psychological. There will be less movement between each tier of the program, but the Thorns staff reserve the right to move players according to their developmental needs.
